was established in 2011 with an intent to support educational activities and educational infrastructure restoration and development in underdeveloped parts of the world, specifically in the remote mountainous regions of Central Asia and Northern Pakistan.
We partner with locally based organizations in these areas: our primary partners are Ravshandilon, a Public Organization, in Tajikistan, and the Aga Khan Educational Services – Pakistan, in Northern Pakistan. Both of these organizations have a local presence in our areas of focus.
The Foundation is a 501(c) (3) exempt organization under US Treasury Regulations.
Over the last 11 years, the Foundation has been involved in a number of projects supporting educational activities in Northern Pakistan and in Tajikistan. These projects range from helping pay tuition for students in Middle School, High School, and in some cases, College fees, to the reconstruction of dilapidated school buildings by adding capacity to existing buildings, supporting students living in dormitories and paying for the costs of running Early Childhood Education Centers.
In certain cases, we have supported the repair and on-going support of medical centers that cater to women and children that allows them to engage more effectively in their education and the society.
